The Early Childhood Mental Health Professional is responsible for the observation and assessment of behavioral and mental health needs in children birth to six. Clinician will need to complete DC: 0-5 assessments, treatment plans, ECSII’s, and other assessments as seen fit. Primary work will be with children and their families. Clinician will also provide appropriate referrals and consult with various entities to promote consistency of care.
Minimum requirements of a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology, social work or related human services field from a recognized college or university, with emphasis on early childhood development and mental health needs of children birth to age six. Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, LP, LPCC) preferred but will consider Clinical Trainee on licensure track. Experience in working with the developmental, physical, relational, and mental health needs of children birth to six required. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred.
